This training will be scheduled as necessary to accommodate
mission requirements. All employees cannot leave their assigned jobs at the
same time, therefore, the schedule will accommodate all employees requiring
training.
b. Because the hazard
communication training is tailored to be job specific, this training will be
• held at the job site.
The 40-hour Defense Hazardous Materials/Waste Handling Course will be
presented in a classroom atmosphere to employees whose duties involve
handling, packaging, storing, transporting, or otherwise managing hazardous
materials/waste.
Other training programs to be conducted are based on the need of the
employee.
(1) ALMC Defense Executive Environmental and Hazardous Materials .
Workshop (24 hours) .
(2) ALMC Defense Executive Environmental and Hazardous Materials
Seminar (8 hours) .
(3) UCD Handling Hazardous Materials Incidents - Guidelines for First
Responders (24 hours) .
(4) UCD Health and Safety Training for TSD Facility Workers (24
hours) .
(5) Corps of Engineers, Health and Safety Training for Hazardous
Waste Sites (40 hours) .
