The remaining annular space of the boring will be sealed from the top of the transition <br /> seal to 2 feet bgs utilizing either bentonite or bentonite/cement slurry. The top 2 feet of <br /> each boring shall be completed with a concrete surface seal. <br /> Each well will be completed utilizing either a traffic-rated flush-mount well vault with a <br /> concrete apron sloped to prevent the infiltration of water or, in areas susceptible to <br /> surface water accumulation, an above-ground well monument surrounded by bollard <br /> posts to protect the well from vehicular traffic. The type of surface completion planned <br /> for each well is shown on Table 2-1.
