The remaining annular space of the boring will be sealed from the top of the transition seal to 2 feet bgs utilizing either bentonite or bentonite/cement slurry. The top 2 feet of each boring shall be completed with a concrete surface seal. Each well will be completed utilizing either a traffic-rated flush-mount well vault with a concrete apron sloped to prevent the infiltration of water or, in areas susceptible to surface water accumulation, an above-ground well monument surrounded by bollard posts to protect the well from vehicular traffic. The type of surface completion planned for each well is shown on Table 2-1. However, the type of surface completion utilized will be determined by the final well locations.
