' 4 PROJECT CONTROLS <br /> 41 Health and Safety Plan <br /> The attached Health and Safety Plan includes general and specific safety orders as well as <br /> a site specific listing of responsibilities and contacts The Appendix A, Health and safety <br /> Plan will be reviewed by all site personnel and initialed <br /> 4.2 Work Schedule <br /> Scheduling of characterization work has considered the following The source of additional <br /> ' contaminants has been removed Equipment and manpower resources are available at <br /> present Work will be performed by WO&S using subcontracted equipment and manpower <br /> under the direction of D K Barber P E and Associates Technical guidance and sampling <br /> will be carred out by a licensed civil engineer responsible to WO&S <br /> Following agency review, comments, and approval of the workplan, site layout, <br /> underground utility location, and well drilling permit application will commence immediately <br /> Borings and monitoring well construction tentative scheduling is for mid <br /> November 2000 with duration to be two to six weeks depending upon extent of <br /> ' bonngs, laboratory findings and weather Two weeks turnaround time for all state <br /> certified laboratory testing is anticipated unless quicker turnaround time would benefit the <br /> ' project, in which case, turnaround time may be shortened at greater cost <br /> An interim Phase II report will be prepared by D K Barber P E &Associates for forwarding <br /> ' to the overseeing agency with information copy as required by WO&S after field work is <br /> completed The report will be amended quarterly as monitoring well data is collected The <br /> target completion date of all sampling at the Acampo Plant Site is December 30, 2001 <br /> Completion date will be highly dependent upon weather delays and any further testing <br /> incurred after planned Phase II characterization <br /> • 4-1 <br />
