• 4 CONTROLS ' 4.1 Health and Safety Plan The plan presented in the October 17, 2000 work plan continues in effect but must be ' reviewed and updated prior to resumption of exploration activity at the Acampo site ' 42 Work Plan & Schedule Scheduling of characterization work has considered the following The source of ' additional contaminants has been removed Equipment and manpower resources are limited and may require upwards to 6 weeks advance notice and commitment Work will be performed by WO&S using subcontracted equipment and manpower under the ' direction of D K Barber P E and Associates Technical guidance and sampling will be carried out by a licensed civil engineer responsible to WO&S 1 Following agency review, comments, and approval of additional work, the site layout, underground utility location, and well drilling permit application will commence immediately Borings and monitoring well construction tentative scheduling will consider a duration to be two to six weeks depending upon extent of borings, laboratory findings and 1 weather A minimum of two weeks turnaround time for all state certified laboratory testing is anticipated unless quicker turnaround time would benefit the project, in which case, ' turnaround time may be shortened at greater cost ' The earlier Interim Phase II report prepared by D K Barber P E & Associates reflected work and findings between November 2000 and February 28, 2002 (Reference Appendix ' H) The report was amended April 26, 2002 (Reference Appendix 1) with the most recently collected monitoring well data The target completion date of all sampling at the Acampo Plant Site is July 30, 2002 Completion date will be highly dependent upon weather delays and any further testing ' incurred with additional Phase II characterization tFinal report preparation will require about 60 days after the final quarterly monitoring well(s) sampling ' 4-1
