CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> 3443 Routier Road, Suite A, Sacramento, CA 95827-3098 <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> and <br /> Notice of Application for a renewal of the Waste Discharge Requirements <br /> (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit) <br /> for <br /> PARADISE POINT MARINA <br /> SEVEN RESORTS, INC. <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Paradise Point Marina- Seven Resorts,Inc. has requested a renewal of waste discharge requirements <br /> for an average discharge of 0.0045 million gallons per day. Paradise Point Marina-Seven Resorts, Inc. <br /> discharges treated domestic waste water at a point 2,000 feet north of the confluence of Disappointment <br /> Slough and Bishop Cut. The existing discharge is governed by Waste Discharge Requirements Order <br /> No. 94-069 (NPDES No. CA 0082376). <br /> A public hearing concerning this matter will be held: <br /> DATE: 11 June 1999 <br /> TIME: 9:00 a.m. <br /> PLACE: City Council Chambers <br /> 1313 California Street <br /> Redding, CA 96002 <br /> The hearing will not be conducted according to the technical rules of evidence. The Board will accept <br /> any evidence or testimony which is reasonably relevant. <br /> Participants in the hearing are either designated parties or other interested persons. Only designated <br /> parties will have the right to cross-examination, and only other designated parties may be cross <br /> examined. Interested persons -i.e., nondesignated parties -do not have a right to cross examination, but <br /> may ask the Board to clarify previous testimony. Interested persons may also be asked to clarify <br /> questions at the discretion of the Board. The designated parties for this hearing are as follows: <br /> • Staff of California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region <br /> • Paradise Point Marina- Seven Resorts, Inc. <br /> All other persons wishing to testify or provide comments are interested persons and not designated <br /> persons. Such interested persons may request status as designated party for purposes of this hearing by <br /> submitting such request in writing to the Board no later than 7 May 1999. The request must explain the <br /> basis for status as designated party and in particular how the person is directly affected by the discharge. <br />
