PRIMA Environmental tmoise/3
August 25,2004
• COCs in air:
o 6, standard TAT
Task 3. Effect of Treatment on Secondary Water Quality
The effect of ozonation on secondary water quality parameters [at a minimum pH and
Cr(VI)] will be determined by analyzing untreated water and treated water from Task 2.
` Other parameters of interest may include arsenic and metals.
Total number of analyses, Task 3:
o 4 for each parameter of concern, standard TAT
Task 4. Fate of Cr(Vl) or Metals
If Cr(VI)or other metal(s) is detected in Task 3, then an additional test to determine
whether these compounds can naturally attenuate will be performed. Four replicates will
be prepared by combining treated groundwater from Task 2 and untreated soil.
Periodically, one replicate will be destructively sampled and the aqueous phase analyzed
` for Cr(VI) or other metal(s) of concern.
Total number of analyses, Task 3:
r, o 4 for each parameter of concern, standard TAT
Task 5. Report Preparation
r
A final report detailing procedures and observations, results, discussion, engineering
implications, and conclusions and recommendations will be prepared.
SCHEDULE
It is estimated that testing can be completed within 35 days of receipt of samples and
notice to proceed. This schedule should be confirmed with PRIMA Environmental at
least 2 weeks prior to desired start date.
r
By:
Cindy G.
