Pershing Ave. <br /> Stockton, CA 84524 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has received and reviewed the letter dated <br /> January 29, 1993 from Aegis Environmental, Inc. to PHS/EHD. <br /> PHS/EHD has obtained flood control maps from the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Works department showing groundwater levels at the <br /> above mentioned site as low as fifty feet below surface (August <br /> 1974) . <br /> It is the understanding of PHS/EHD that a detailed tank repair <br /> and/or replacement history dating back to 1964 will be included <br /> in the first quarter 1993 quarterly monitoring report. <br /> It is the position of PHS/EHD, that a monitoring well be <br /> constructed below the first aquifer and soil below the first <br /> aquifer be sampled and analyzed unless a site history dating back <br /> to 1964 reveals pristine conditions regarding tank integrity, <br /> fuel reconciliation, etc. <br /> Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, <br /> please contact Michael Collins, EHS, of my staff at <br /> (2 09) 468-0338 . <br /> Jogi Khann' .D. , M.P.H. <br /> Health O,�fi r <br /> aurie A.
