The quarterly reports to date have established a northeasterly groundwater gradient. PHS/EHD
recognizes the screening potential of the hydropunch in certain circumstances, however, in this
particular situation PHS/EHD will need to see repeatable sampling from a monitoring well
downZradieRC from the probable source. The investigation has not pursued data collection in the
area most likely to indicate what contamination may or may not be present on this site. Additional
subsurface/groundwater data collection is viewed as necessary in this regard.
2. Table 2 of the Quarterly Reportwhich tabulates the analytical results for groundwater, should report
the values in parts per billion (ug/ml) as indicated in the State Water Resources Control Board
LUFT Field Manual.
3. This chain of custody for the three monitoring wells did not copy well and the signatures, times, and
dates are not readable. Please provide PHS/EHD with a legible copy.
If you have any further questions, contact Steven Schneider, RENS, of my staff at (209)468-3441.
Jogi Khanna, M. , M.P.H.
1
Health Offic
L ie A.
