• CAMB R1A
r
concentrations up to 0 13 ppm Petroleum hydrocarbons were not detected in groundwater
samples collected from wells MW-1 through MW-3 Summary tables of the chemical
analytical results, a site map, cross-sections, and well logs from this investigation report are
included in Appendix B
Based on the analytical data collected during these investigations, hydrocarbon impacted soil
was delineated and limited to the vicinity of the former UST pit and groundwater beneath the
site had not been impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons
1992 Hydrogeologic Assessment Results and Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report.
During December 1991, one additional groundwater monitoring well (MW-4) was installed
Three soil samples from the boring for MW-4 were submitted for laboratory chemical
analyses TPHg was detected in the sample collected from 29 fbg at a concentration of I 1
ppm BTEX compounds were not detected in any of the soil samples collected from well
MW-4 A summary table of the chemical analytical results, a site map, and the well log from
this investigation report are included in Appendix B
1992 Results Report for Air Monitoring of Extended Pilot Vapor Extraction Test. Petroleum
hydrocarbons were removed from soil beneath the former UST pat during a soil vapor
extraction pilot test performed at the site from December 1991 to February 1992 Air
monitoring data indicated petroleum hydrocarbons at concentrations of up to 6,500 parts-
per-million-volume (ppmv) were removed from soil during the test Groundwater samples
collected from MW-4 following vapor extraction contained very low concentrations of
petroleum hydrocarbons when detected
1996 Case Closure Summary: During July 1996, Enviros Inc (Enviros), of Sonoma,
California prepared a Case Closure Summary for the subject property. The report included a
data summary, subsurface characterization, a soil sampling summary, a groundwater
monitoring and sampling summary, conclusions, and recommendations In this report, based
on six years of continuous quarterly groundwater monitoring with low to non detectable
concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons, Enviros requested case closure be granted for the
site
1998 Upgrade Site Inspection Report: In July 1998, the service station was upgraded
During the upgrade activities, waste oil overspill containment was installed Cambria
inspected native soil exposed in the work areas for evidence of petroleum hydrocarbons
iPetroleum hydrocarbons were not detected during these inspections Soil sampling was not
required by SJCPHS and no soil samples were collected for chemical analysis
0837 5
