I Supplemental Investigation Report,Problem Assessment Report and Work Plan Cleanu and Abatement Order No 5-00-707 EAI Pro ect No ---- All CPT borings will be tremmie grouted under pressure from termination depth to grade using a bentonite/cement grout Sampling equipment will be decontaminated in a manner similar to that described in Section 513 5.3 Analytical Testing All analytical testing will be completed by a State of California certified hazardous waste testing laboratory The laboratory will be certified for all tests proposed as part of this investigation Soil and ground water samples will be tested for TPH-G by modified EPA Method 8015, and VOCs, including MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETBE, TAME, EDB, ethanol and methanol, by EPA Method 8260B 5.4 Sample Containers and Preservatives Sample containers required for the specific analyses will generally be provided by the laboratory, immediately prior to the sampling event The containers will be pre-cleaned and not rinsed prior to sample collection Preservatives, if required, will have been added to the containers by the laboratory, prior to shipment to EAI 5.5 Sample Identification Documentation,p e #anon, Packaging and Shipping To identify and manage the samples collected in the field, a sample label will be affixed to each sample container Each sample label will include the following information 0 Sample identification number o Date and time of sample collection 0 EAI project number • Name of client • Name of sampler • Preservatives added, if any Following sample collection and labeling, samples will be placed into a high quality ice chest for temporary storage and transport to the analytical laboratory The following protocol will be followed for sample packaging A self-adhesive sample label will be placed across the lid of each sample container, acting not only as a sample label but also as a custody seal • The samples will be placed in leak-proof"Ziploc" plastic bags 4 The samples will then be placed into a high quality ice chest which will include ice to kept the samples chilled during transport to the laboratory The drain plug of the ice chest will be secured using tape to preclude melting ice from leaking out of the cooler © The chain of custody record {COC} forms will be placed in a "Ziploc" water-resistant plastic bag and taped to the inside lid of the cooler 13S 1232P 1RW_WP -16- ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT,YNC.®
