Statement of Facts -2- <br /> Falcon Energy Associates <br /> it will be transported to the Kiesel Corporation, located <br /> at 4801 Fyler Avenue in St Louis, Missouri. Kiesel <br /> Corporation is permitted by the United States <br /> Environmental Protection Agency to recycle or burn <br /> azardous wastes in their cement kiln burner. <br /> The decanted lubricants from the settling tanks will flow <br /> through a feedstock heater and evaporation/condensation <br /> unit before ending up in one of the two 20 , 000 gallon <br /> recycled oil storage tanks. Recycled oil will then be , <br /> analyzed to meet the recycled oil criteria as defined in ' <br /> Section 25250 of the California Health and Safety Code ' <br /> (H&SC) before being used as a fuel oil to dehumidify the <br /> incoming agricultural wastes. The extra portion of the <br /> recycled oil will be sold as a fuel product. <br /> II. Types an ouanti_ties of wastes <br /> The facility will only be permitted to recycle used oil. <br /> Used oil is defined in Section 25250 of H&SC as: <br /> 1. Any oil that has been refined from crude oil , <br /> and has been used, and, as a result of use, has been <br /> contaminated with physical or chemical impurities. <br /> 2. Any oil that has been refined from crude oil and, as <br /> a consequence of extended storage, spillage, or <br /> contamination with nonhazardous impurities such as <br /> dirt and water, is no longer useful to the original <br /> purchaser. <br /> 3 . Spent lubricating fluids which have been removed <br /> from an engine crankcase, transmission, gearbox, or <br /> differential of an automobile, bus, truck, vessel , <br /> plane, heavy equipment, or machinery powered by an <br /> internal combustion engine. <br /> 4. Spent industrial oils, including compressor, <br /> turbine, and bearing oil, hydraulic oil , <br /> metal-working oil, refrigeration oil , and railroad <br /> draining. <br /> 5. Contaminated fuel oil with a flashpoint greater than <br /> 100 degrees Fahrenheit. <br /> Estimated annual quantities of used oil accepted and <br /> recycled by the facility will be approximately 50, 000 <br /> gallons a month. <br /> The facility is, however, prohibited from handling or <br /> storing or recycling the following types- of wastes: <br />
