These costs include site acquisition, design, construction, andl <br /> other major operation purchases. <br /> Annual operating costs for 1989 are estimated to total approxi- <br /> mately $1,770,000. These costs would include about $705,000 in salaries <br /> and the remainder for equipment, supplies, maintenance, taxes, insurance <br /> and other operational factors. Another operating cost not reflected in <br /> the above is the debt service on borrowed funds. Operating costs are <br /> expected to increase at the rate of 5 percent per year. <br /> The project is expected to generate approximately $3.75 million in <br /> gross first year revenues from the sale of biomass briquettes and from <br /> oil recovery operations.
