Culbertson ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Chevron Pipeline Company PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> 4000 Executive Parkway, Suite 400 <br /> San Ramon, CA 94583 <br /> PLAN TO INSTALL GROUND WATER MONITORING WELLS, CHEVRON PIPE <br /> LINE COMPANY, MOUNTAIN VIEW TOWNHOMES SITE, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> I have reviewed your 11 January 1996 letter regarding your intentions to have EMCON <br /> install three ground water monitoring wells at the Chevron pipeline release site in Tracy. The <br /> wells will be used to monitor the ground water within and downgradient of the petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon-affected area. No upgradient wells are proposed at this time due to the ongoing <br /> construction activities related to the development of the Mountain View Townhomes <br /> subdivision. Work is to proceed in accordance with the 29 June 1995 work plan and <br /> subsequent addendum previously approved. <br /> The work plan is hereby approved. By 29 March 1996, please submit a well installation <br /> report which includes the first quarter ground water monitoring results. Please provide at <br /> least 72 hours notice prior to any field activities in case I wish to observe the work or obtain <br /> split samples. <br /> If you have any questions, you may call me at(916) 255-3077. <br /> JO L M.
