Cambridge ACREAGE: .25 (approximate) <br /> ACCOMPANIED BY: Joseph Woods, City of Lodi <br /> Remarks: <br /> On October 27, 1998, California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) staff, accompanied by Joseph <br /> Woods of the City of Lodi, conducted a site inspection of this facility. Staff determined that this site contained <br /> approximately 700 waste tires. This waste tire facility (WTF) operator was not using a registered waste tire hauler <br /> to transport his waste tires from his tire shop located in Stockton, CA. <br /> During the inspection, the facility was found to be in violation of several waste tire standards. Waste tires were <br /> stored in one large contiguous pile in close proximity to the perimeter fence and building structures and waste tires <br /> were still affixed to the rims. No measures were in place for the control of pyrolytic oils which may be created <br /> during a tire fire. <br /> Violations: <br /> 30 PRC 42833 Operator Authorized by Permit <br /> At the time of this inspection, the waste tire site operator did not have a minor Permit issued by the CIWMB. <br /> Pursuant to this section, the CIWMB shall issue a minor Permit pursuant to the regulations once an application has <br /> been submitted and the facility is in compliance with applicable regulation and law. <br /> Integrated Waste Management Specialist !.� <br />
