30 September 2003
. AGE-NC Project No 99-0592
None of the target analytes were detected in samples collected from monitoring wells MW-2,MW-3
' and MW-4 and the active domestic well DW-1
Analytical results for the ground water samples for the March 2003 monitoring event are
summarized on Tables 2 and 3 The laboratory report (MAI Lab IDs 0304002-001 through
0304002-005), QA/QC and chain-of-custody are Included m Appendix 3
4.0. SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS
Based on the findings from this Investigation, AGE concludes
• Ground water at the site was inferred to be flowing toward the northeast at an average
' gradient of 0 0007 ft/ft The average ground water elevation at the site has Increased
approximately 3 5 feet since the December 2002 monitoring event r
• Petroleum hydrocarbon-Impacted ground water appears to be limited to the area near
monitoring well MW-1 None of the target analytes were detected in samples collected from
MW-2,MW-3, MW-4 and DW-1
• The concentrations of MTBE and 1,2-DCA were above the DHS' Maximuln Contaminant
Levels of 13 µg/1 and 0 5 µg/1, respectively, in drinking water
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
As directed by the EHD In the letter dated 07 March 2003,quarterly ground water monitoring should
continue at the site The next quarterly monitoring event should be scheduled for June 2003 ---
1
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing In this or similar localities The findings were based upon
analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluation ofthe hydrogeologic conditions
at the site for the purpose of this Investigation was made from a limited number of available data
' points(I e ,monitoring wells and ground water samples) and subsurface conditions may vary away
from these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, Is made as to the professional
Interpretations, opinions and recommendations contained In this report
IAdvanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc
I
