The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed
<br />for Ryder Truck Rental #1071 as of February 17, 2015.
<br />Open violations from August 19, 2013 inspection
<br />Violation #110 - Contingency plan incomplete
<br />The contingency plan for this facility did not include the descriptions and capabilities of the emergency
<br />equipment at the facility, including the cartridge respirators, chemical protective suites, chemical
<br />protective gloves, fire extinguishing system, and absorbant. A contingency plan shall include all of the
<br />following:
<br />-actions facility personnel shall take in response to fires, explosions, and unplanned release to air,
<br />soil, or surface water
<br />-arrangements agreed to by local police departments, fire departments, hospitals, cleanup
<br />contractors, and state & local emergency response teams
<br />-names, addresses & phone numbers (office & home) of the Emergency Coordinator and any
<br />alternates
<br />-list of all emergency equipment at the facility (fire, spill, communications/alarms,
<br />decontamination), including location, physical description, and a brief outline of its capabilities
<br />-evacuation plan, including at least two routes and signals to be used
<br />-telephone number of Cal EMA
<br />This information must be kept current at all times. Immediately update the contingency plan for this
<br />facility to include all of the necessary information and submit a copy of the plan to the EHD by
<br />September 19, 2013. REPEAT VIOLATION
<br />Violation #610 - Failed to store used oil filters in a closed, rainproof container that is labeled
<br />"drained used oil filters" and marked with the accumulation start date
<br />A blue metal bin of drained used oil filters was observed without an accumulation start date.
<br />According to the records on site, the bin was emptied on August 13, 2013. Used oil filters must be
<br />stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an
<br />accumulation start date. Immediately label the date on the container and ensure that all used oil
<br />filters are managed in this way. REPEAT VIOLATION
