R,YIj ^r-1eoT�flcINJT The locations shop manager must provide the following training so employees are familiar with the safe handling of hazardous materials: Train employees on the safe handling of all on site hazardous materials and wastes listed in your locations HMMP. Inform the employees on the personnel protective equipment needs for handling each HMMP listed hazardous material and waste. Train each employee on the required emergency notification of a release listed HMMP products on site Go over the environmental and employee effects concerning each hazardous material listed in the locations HMMP Advise the employees of the location of the emergency spill response clean up materials located on site, the location of fire extinguishers and routes of safe emergency evacuation procedures from the property. 3. Procedures for communicating with emergency response agencies The locations shop manager must provide the following training so employees are familiar with the procedures when communicating with emergency response agencies: Train all employees trained to immediately notify the locations Emergency Coordinator or alternate emergency coordinator of a hazardous material release/emergency found on the emergency spill telephone guide.. The Emergency Coordinator (Shop Manager) or the locations alternate names and phone numbers are found next to telephones throughout the facility on the Ryder Emergency Spill telephone guide. Employees should also be advised of Ryder 24 hour emergency response contact for large on site emergencies, XL Specialty Claims. Their phone number is also found on Ryders Emergency Spill Telephone Guide. Train all employees that if the Emergency coordinator or alternate is not on site, employees are instructed to contact the facilities Environmental coordinator (Maintenance Manager). The shop manager or maintenance manager are to assess the situation and make the proper contacts to regulatory agencies. If the emergency or environmental Coordinators for the facility cannot be advised of the situation, then the employees are to trained and advised to call Ryder corporate at 305- 500-3619 immediately.
