All persons leaving the damaged building should report tt <br />the Evacuation Assembly Areas. <br />_9199ZOTW� <br />Lodi sits in between 100 year and 500 year floodplains in the central valley. <br />With the possibility of minimal plant flooding from severe weather and/or a levee break, the <br />Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for obtaining and dispersing sand bags in <br />order to keep flood waters from entering the plant. <br />An earthquake usually occurs without any type of warning. During an earthquake do the <br />following: <br />1 . If inside a building, all personnel should attempt to get under a table, desk, cup <br />machine or any place that the employee feels safe. Use the drop and cover poson <br />bend head close to knees, cover sides of head with elbows and clasp hands behind <br />the neck. <br />Anyone close to an exit should immediately leave the building and get as far away <br />from the structure as possible. <br />2. If you are outside, get into an open area away from trees, buildings, walls, and <br />power lines. <br />After an earthquake has stopped, initiate the following procedure: <br />Restore calm and check for injuries. Do not move seriously injured persons unless <br />they are in immediate danger. Help people who are trapped by small items that dof <br />not require heavy tools to move. Leave badly damaged buildings and do not <br />attempt to return to them unless directed to do so by management. All persons <br />leaving the damaged building should report to the Evacuation Assembly Areas. <br />2. Summon emergency services as needed for injuries, persons trapped etc. by <br />dialing 9- then 9-1 -1. Also, summon the in -plant First Aid Responders to help trea <br />injured persons by dialing 85 to page from any plant phone. <br />3. Keep all personnel away from overturned fixtures, windows, filing cabinets, <br />machinery, and electrical power. If gas and water leaks, broken electrical wiring, <br />broken sewage lines, building cracks or other damages are noted, immediately exit <br />the building. <br />4. Cellular phones should be used if there is a loss of power or telephone <br />communications. <br />5. Be prepared for aftershocks. Aftershocks are usually smaller than the main quake <br />but may be large enough to do additional damage to structures weakened during th <br />initial quake. <br />
