Used oil filters <br /> must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked with an <br /> accumulation start date. Immediately mark the date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in <br /> this way. Provide proof of corrective action to the EHD within 30 days of receiving this report. <br /> 27. 1 - 55 Gallon drum in the hazardous waste storage shed had no lid. All hazardous waste containers <br /> shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers <br /> and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. Submit <br /> proof of corrective action to the EHD within 30 days of receiving this report. <br /> 30. 2 - 55 gallon drum labeled empty lacked the date it was emptied. Containers larger than five gallons <br /> that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and <br /> managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this <br /> section. Provide proof of corrective action to the EHD within 30 days of receiving this report. <br /> 52. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at <br /> least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and <br /> the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency <br /> coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the <br /> phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an <br /> emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form is provided that can be <br /> used for this purpose. Submit proof of correction to the EHD within 30 days of receiving this report. <br /> 60 & 63. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records for past three years were not found on site. <br /> Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all <br /> receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily <br /> available for review. Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, <br /> maintain them on site.
