Kennedy/Jenks Consultants <br /> Section 5: Project Management <br /> This section provides details regarding the specific roles, activities, and responsibilities of <br /> project participants, as well as the internal lines of authority and communication within and <br /> between organizations to provide sufficient data of adequate quality to monitor and control <br /> remedial investigation of the Railyard. <br /> The Union Pacific Manager of Environmental Site Remediation for the Railyard is Mr. Jim Levy. <br /> Mr. Levy has overall authority and responsibility for ensuring that Union Pacific completes the <br /> project requirements and tasks in compliance with the Agreement. Mr. Levy manages the <br /> contract and authorizes the work conducted by the managing consultant, Kennedy/Jenks. <br /> Mr. Levy will also communicate with DTSC. All work plans and reports must be approved by the <br /> lead regulatory agency, DTSC. <br /> Kennedy/Jenks will oversee the implementation of the remedial investigation. Key <br /> Kennedy/Jenks staff members responsible for implementation of the project are the Project <br /> Manager, Quality Assurance (QA) Officer, Data Validation Officer, Project Engineer and the <br /> Field Support Team. An Organization Chart is shown on Figure 5, and descriptions of duties <br /> and responsibilities for key personnel are summarized in Table 3. <br /> Direct push drilling services will be provided by Vironex Environmental Field Services (Vironex) <br /> of San Leandro, California. Analytical laboratory services will be provided by Severn Trent <br /> Laboratories, Inc. (STL) San Francisco Inc. in Pleasanton, California.
