Figure 3 shows the site area and limits of the well survey based on a <br /> -" one-fourth mile radius. Basic well survey information was obtained by <br /> several visits to the site, the SJLHD and the San Joaquin County Assessor's <br /> Office. Six wells were located within the radius of the well survey. Four <br /> wells are located on Tri-Valley Growers, property and one of these is used <br /> for production purposes. Two domestic wells are located just north of the <br /> project site. Drinking water to the area is supplied by a public utility and is <br /> derived from production wells outside the one-quater mile radius. Some <br /> domestic wells in the area may still be used for loc,•I irrgation. <br /> 4.1 <br /> eAccording to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, the Board generally considers all groundwater within the <br /> i <br /> Central Valley has potentially beneficial use. As such, the Board <br /> recommends that, for gasoline, diesel, and petroleum products, there be <br /> :. non-detectable concentrations in groundwater and a maximum of one ppm <br /> (part-per-million) in soil (Boggs, 1986, p. 8). <br /> v <br />
