All
w..
samples were placed in a refrigerated chest and were transported under
- chain-of-custody documentation to the state-certified laboratory for
chemical analysis. The sample was designated AiGRA after the property owner (Figure
3). The well was sampled with the property owner's permission in the
presence of a SJLHD official (Mr. Douglas Wilson). The sample was collected
Y.e1
from a hose spiget that was allowed to run for a minimum of 15 minutes
w r prior to collection. The sample was labeled, packaged, and analyzed in the
same manner as described for the on-site groundwater samples.
5.5 SURVEYING
The elevations of the tops of the PVC well casings were surveyed to the
wY
nearest 0.01 feet. No benchmark data was found for rigorous known
reference elevations on this site. Elevation was assumed as 10.00 feet on
top of the PVC casing on monitoring well MW-2. All other wells are relative
to this assumed elevation (see Appendix G).
a. 5.6 SITE HYDROGEOMIC CONDITIONS
Three exploratory borings were drilled on August 20 and 21, 1987 (Figure 2).
