General secondary containment applies to on-site spills or leaks and is covered as follows:
• Tank T1 and T2 fill ports are equipped with spill boxes to capture product leaks during hose
connection and disconnection. The contents of the spill box can be manually pumped into the tank
using the integrated hand pump above the box.
• Spill kits stored at various locations around the Facility are shown on Figure 3. Contained oil
products will typically be pumped or placed into a secure recovery drum or tanker truck and
properly disposed of in accordance regulatory requirements.
Specific (sized) secondary containment requirements are based on the type of containers, activities, or
equipment in place at the Facility. The SPCC Rule specifies a required minimum volume for this type of
secondary containment.Facility specific secondary containment includes:
• 100 percent containment of the 10,000-gallon diesel tank (TI) is required. The tank is double
walled providing full containment of the primary (inner) shell within the secondary (outer) shell.
Containment space is not exposed to precipitation.
• 100-percent containment of the 10,000-gallon gasoline tank (T2) is required. The tank is double
walled providing full containment of the primary (inner) shell within the secondary (outer) shell.
Containment space is not exposed to precipitation.
i CONDOR
