Sampling and locatiion of
this well will be based on findings of Phase I investigations and
Phase II sampling . If action level contamination is found i'n the
soil borings the well will be sampled every 5 feet to the water
table . A two inch monitoring well will then be constructed and
screened 10 feet below and 5 feet above water level . All cuttings
will be screened with at Century 128-GC OVA (FINand
containerized in DOT 55 gallon drums with covers.
If no contamination is found in the sail baring we will
request a waiver of the monitoring well construction. If sub
action level contamination is found in the soil Barings a" well
will be constructed 20 feet dawn gradient from appropriate soil
borings and soil sampled at tank pit elevation, 30 feet and at
the water 'table. A well will then be constructed similar to the
earlier., action level contamination scenario .
P1, E__ I M REP0l3TI NG
A brief report containing the results of historic , geologic ,
hydrologic , chemical analysis and well deveXopment will be
submitted to the client and to the County . This will include the
consultants suggestions for further action nd well monitoring .
i3
I
Respectfully►
i
Tim K. Smith
Reg . Cal .
