ti <br /> V R <br /> B R O W N A N D <br /> C A L D W E L L <br /> March 25, 1998 <br /> Mr Ronald Rowe <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 Webster Avenue <br /> Post Office Box 388 <br /> Stockton, Califonua 95201-0388 017-6271-01/1 <br /> 1 <br /> Subject Pressure Transducer Test Results, T&T Trucking, 11369 North Highway 99, <br /> Lodi, California <br /> Dear Mr Rowe <br /> On behalf of T&T Trucking, Brown and Caldwell (BC) monitored water levels for seven days <br /> in one monitoring well (MW-1) and the unused domestic well (unused well) during normal <br /> operation of the on-site primary water supply well (supply well) (Figure 1) This letter report <br /> summarizes the results from this monitoring The objective of the monitoring was to collect <br /> data to aid our understanding of water table fluctuations during the course of normal supply <br /> well use, and how these fluctuations may impact petroleum constituents dissolved in <br /> groundwater beneath the site <br /> The supply well provides water for all domestic (three residences and a full-time office of ten <br /> people) and industrial usage (truck and trailer wash stations are in continuous use every day, <br /> seven days a week) The pumping time, discharge rate, nor the amount of water used during <br /> any one day is unknown <br /> Hydrogeology <br /> Based on lithologic logs of monitoring well MW-1 and the supply well, the geology can be <br /> described as interbedded sands, sand-silt mixtures, and silts/clays to at least 370 feet below <br /> ground surface (bgs) First water (water table) occurs between 70-78 feet bgs, and most likely <br /> fluctuates seasonally under unconfined conditions Significant clay layers have been <br /> identified between 99-114 feet, 123-156, and 158-168 feet bgs with sand layers above, in- <br /> between, and below From 168 to 243 feet bgs "good" and coarse sands are interbedded with <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared It should not be rehed upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of work which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site <br /> NIELMM2711CORRESP\LTR-2 DOC Environmental Eng neerrng And Consulting AnalytiCa15erviCes <br /> 9616 M]CROV AVENUE, Sl1ITi 600, SACRAMENTO, CA 95827 2627 <br /> (916) 444 0123 FAX (916) 856 5277 <br />
