i�r <br /> B R 0 W N A N D ` { 1- , <br /> C A L D W E L L g1. 20 <br /> January 22, 1998 <br /> Mr Ronald Rowe <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> 304 Webster Avenue <br /> Post Office Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201-0388 017-6271-0I/1 <br /> Subject Field Work, T&T Trucking, 11369 North Highway 99 in Lodi, California <br /> Dear Mr Rowe <br /> On behalf of T&T Trucking, Brown and Caldwell (BC) is conducting a preliminary <br /> hydrologic study at the subject site The objective of this study is to collect water level data <br /> in existing on site wells for approximately seven days The purpose of this limited study is an <br /> attempt to determine if fluctuations in water levels may indicate an hydrologic influence on <br /> the water table by the primary domestic well, which is screened in a deeper zone <br /> The following describes the hydrogeology, scope of work, and time of completion for a <br /> summary letter of the results of this study <br /> Hydrogeology <br /> The shallow water-bearing zone (WBZ) represents the first encountered water beneath the <br /> site, approximately 78 feet below ground surface One groundwater monitoring well (MW-1) <br /> is screened across this zone (73 5 to 83 5 feet bgs) Based on the well log of the primary <br /> domestic well on the site, the deep WBZ is assumed to be within the interval of 167 to 247 <br /> feet bgs There are multiple sand zones within this interval that may or may not be <br /> interconnected, however, for the purpose of this study the shallowest sand interval (168-180 <br /> feet bgs) is referenced as the deep WBZ See Figure I for the well locations <br /> In addition to MW-1 and the primary domestic well, there is an "unused" domestic well on- <br /> site and is assumed to have been installed in the 1950s This well has not used by T&T <br /> Trucking for several years and the pump was pulled on January 14, 1998 There is no well <br /> log available for this well so the total depth and well screen interval is unknown Based on <br /> conversations with Mr Terry Tarditi, it was thought the well was at least 150 to 200 feet <br /> deep <br /> E\62711COMSKUR-1 DOC <br /> Environmental Engineenng And Consulting Analytical Services <br /> 9616 MICRON AvEnUe SUITE 600 SACRAMENTO, CA 95827 2627 <br /> (916) 444 0123 FAX (916) 856 5277 <br />
