B. Site Location_
1. The subject Site is located on what used to be the remains of an intra-
island slough bed (Whiskey Slough). The Site is approximately two (2) miles northwest of
the McDonald Island Bridge which connects McDonald Island and Roberts Island.
Attached hereto as Exhibit "A" are maps showing the location of the Site, hereinafter
referred to the "Site".
C. Site History.
1. Flooding of McDonald Island in 1982 eroded part of the remanents of
Whiskey Slough leaving a denuded incline of soil. Subsequently, the Owner/Operatorof the
land began to dump trash generated from its farming operation at the Site. It is also
believed that typical household garbage and waste (from worker living quarters on the
property) was disposed of at the Site. Periodically the Site was burned and some
surrounding soil was pushed over the remanents.
2. Dimensions of the Site are approximately 100', tapering down to 30' x 900'.
The depth is estimated at 2 to 4 feet. This determines a potential volume of 1,500-2,500
cubic yards. These figures are very rough and should not be considered adequate other
than for general estimation purposes.
2
