File MH17921 vol. 1 Sec. 2 Page 1 Issued: 1998- 1-27 <br /> and Report Revised: 2004- 4-12 <br /> DESCRIPTION <br /> PRODUCT COVERED: <br /> USL, CNL - Model DMA Series dispenser sumps and pans, DMA shallow, DMA <br /> single-sided deep, DMA double-sided deep and DMA Double Wall <br /> Sumps. <br /> GENERAL: <br /> The pans and sumps are installed underground beneath dispensing devices <br /> and are intended for the secondary containment of petroleum products, alcohols <br /> and alcohol-gasoline mixtures. Each sump or pan is provided with hardware for <br /> anchoring to the concrete dispenser island and for securement of the emergency <br /> shutoff valves. The hardware is covered under Report dated October 20, 1993, <br /> File MH17921 . <br /> The interstitial space of the double wall sumps may be monitored by <br /> using positive or negative (vacuum) pressure not exceeding 5 psi, or with <br /> water or brine solution. <br /> The penetration fittings allow for the penetration of piping for <br /> flammable liquids and electrical conduit through the wall of the sumps or <br /> pans. <br /> INSTALLATION: <br /> The sumps, pans and penetration fittings are intended for underground <br /> installation in accordance with Western Fiberglass Inc. 's insta lation <br /> instructions (ILL. A) . Installation instructions for the penetration fittings <br /> are shown in ILL. B. Installation instructions for the optional access panel <br /> are shown in ILL. C. <br /> MARKING: <br /> The following markings shall be legibly and permanently a lied to the <br /> sumps, pans and penetration fittings. <br /> A. The manufacturer's name. <br /> B. The statement: "Follow Western Fiberglass Guidelines" . <br /> C. The Listing Mark described below. <br />
