(Quik Stop), Horizon Environmental Inc. (Horizon) <br /> has developed this work plan for a groundwater investigation at Quik Stop Station No. 76 <br /> located in Stockton, San Joaquin County, California. The work plan was requested by the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) in a letter dated March 21; <br /> 2003 (Appendix A). <br /> The purpose of the work is to evaluate the lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbons reported <br /> in groundwater samples collected during a soil and groundwater investigation project <br /> conducted in May 2002 at the site. This work plan was developed in accordance with the <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) document Tri-Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites; <br /> Appendix A dated 30 August 1991. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The subject site is an operating gasoline station located at 1030 South Olive Avenue in <br /> Stockton, California as shown on Figure 1.
