Quik Stop Station No.AW) 11.) April 22,2003
Stockton, California Work Plan for Additional Groundwater investigation
certified analytical laboratory. Analyze soil and groundwater samples for total
petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,
and xylenes (BTEX) and the fuel oxygenate methyl-t-butyl ether (MTBE) by
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 8260B. Additionally analyze
the composite soil stockpile sample for total lead by EPA Method 6010.
Additionally analyze the groundwater sample for diisopropyl ether (DIPS),
ethyl-tert-butyl ether (ETBE), tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME), tert-butanol
(TBA), and the lead scavenger compounds 1,2-dichloroethane (DCA) and 1,2-
dibromoethane (EDB) by EPA Method 8260B.
I
Task 5 Conduct a sensitive receptor survey for the area within 2000 feet of the site.
Examine United States Geological Survey topographic maps to identify natural
surface water bodies in the survey area. Conduct a review of driller's reports at
the California Department of Water Resources to identify water wells within the
survey area. Record direction and distance to the wells, well use and well
construction information. Evaluate, if possible, the current status of the wells.
Field check locations and status of wells identified to be within 500 feet of the
site.
Task 6 Prepare a site investigation report which documents the performance of the
fieldwork, hydrogeological site characteristics, analytical methods and results,
results of sensitive receptor survey, and evaluations of site environmental
conditions.
7076tivp4-03.doc
Project No.7076.14 5 HORIZON ENVIRONMENTAL INC.
