' Quarterly Monitoring and Sensitive Receptor Survey Report Canepa's Car Wash(Park Street) ' November 5,2001 Page 7 ' 6.2 SURFACE WATERS McLeod Lake, part of the San Joaquin River system, is located approximately 1,400 feet southwest of the ' site The lake was identified on maps and during site reconnaissance 6 3 SCHOOLS ' One school was identified within the study area 1 Trinity Lutheran School (S 1 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 444 North American Street, approximately 1,800 feet southeast of the site 6.4 CHILD CARE ' Five childcare facilities were identified within the study area 1 Trinity Lutheran Preschool (CCI in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 444 American Street, approximately 1,800 feet southeast of the site ' 2 Creative Child Care(CC2 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 17 Poplar Street, approximately 1,200 feet northwest of the site 3 Head Start Child Development Center (CC3 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is Iocated at 347 Poplar Street, approximately 1,000 feet north of the site ' 4 First Stop Children's Center (CC4 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 611 North Stanislaus Street, approximately 1,700 feet northeast of the site 5 Circle of Love Preschool (CC5 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 505 North Stanislaus ' Street, approximately 1,800 feet east of the site 6 5 OTHER SENSITIVE RECEPTORS ' Three other potential sensitive receptors were identified within the study area 1 Claremont Manor Senior Community (R1 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 347 East Flora I Street, approximately 500 feet northeast of the site 2 Oak Haven Home for the Aged (R2 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 725 East Oak Street, approximately 1,900 feet east of the site I 3 The Blind Center (R3 in Figure 9, Appendix A) is located at 130 West FIora Street, approximately 1,600 feet west of the site I 6.6 UTILITIES There are at least three public water utility districts that service the Stockton area CWSC is the water purveyor currently servicing the study area CWSC was contacted in an effort to obtain a list of public I water users CWSC was not able to provide a list of public water users due to confidentiality They did, however, indicate that they service the study area but thal they are not able to guarantee that every address is served by only their water Iinterviews with residents were conducted to determine whether the neighborhoods were on public or private water supply Most of the contacted residents withux the site reconnaissance area stated that they were on public water Public water usage could not be ver,fied for each and every resident I I ~� CONDOR
