' QUARTERLY GROUNDWATER MONITORING REPORT <br /> FIRST QUARTER-January 1998 <br /> 1 Canepa's Car Wash <br /> 248 E Park Street <br />' Stockton, California <br />' March 12, 1998 <br /> 1 INTRODUCTION <br /> Condor Earth Technologies, Inc , (Condor) conducted quarterly groundwater monitoring at the Canepa's Car <br /> I Wash facility located at 248 E Park Street in Stockton, California (Figure 1, Appendix A) on January 22, 1998 <br /> The groundwater monitoring was conducted at the request of Mr Remo Canepa, facility owner, in response to <br /> direction from Mr Ronald Rowe of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br />' Division (PHS/EHD) The groundwater samples were analyzed at a certified laboratory for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons, quantified as gasoline (TPI -G), for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene (BTEX), and <br /> for gasoline oxygenates/additives as requested by the PHS/EHD <br /> This report includes a description of the field procedures and laboratory analyses conducted during the January, <br /> 1998, quarterly monitoring A discussion of the current and historical groundwater data is presented in Section <br />' 5 0 (Discussion of Results) <br />' 2 SUMMARY OF RESULTS <br /> The following summary describes the data collected during the January, 1998, quarterly monitoring <br />' Groundwater__Analysis Laboratory analytical results indicated that TPH-G was detected in the <br /> groundwater samples collected from MW-I at 0 11 mg/L, MW-2 at 16 mg/L, MW-3 at 0 53 mg/L, <br /> MW-5 at 9 0 mg/L, MW-6 at 0 18 mg/L, and MW-7 at 0 21 mg/L BTEX constituents were <br /> detected in the groundwater samples collected from all of the monitor wells sampled, ranging from <br /> 0 5 µg/L to 2,000 µg/L Gasoline oxygenates/additives were not detected at or above the laboratory <br /> reported detection limits in any of the groundwater sample collected from the monitor wells with <br /> I the exception of MTBE, at 1 I µg/L, in the sample from MW-6 MW-4 was located behind a gate <br /> that was unexpectedly locked during the monitoring event The well was, therefore, not sampled <br /> The laboratory results are presented in Section 4 2 and Figure 2, Appendix A <br /> �� CONDOR <br />
