Quarterly Monitoring Report April 2000 I Ganepa s Gar Wash(Park Street) Page 3 TABLE I GROUNDWATER ELEVATION DATA(April 18, 2000) MW-1 THROUGH MW-7 Well Well Casing Well Collar Depth to Groundwater 1D Screen Elevation Water Elevation Interval (feet) (feet) (feet) (feet_ bgs) MW-1 45 -65 1097 21 87 -1090 MW-2 45 -65 1037 2256 -12 19 MW-3 45 -65 1 1 76 2312 -1 1 36 IMW-4 40-60 10 85 21 29 -1044 MW-5 40-60 1 1 25 2282 -f 1 57 MW-6 40 -60 11 72 23 03 -l 1 31 MW-7 40-60 11 05 2209 -11 04 4 2 LABORATORY ANALYSES (TPH-G, BTEX, OXYGENATES/ADDITIVES) The groundwater samples were analyzed by GeoAnalytical Laboratories, Inc tot total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-G) by Method 5030/LUFT, for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Method 8020, and for selected gasoline oxygenates/additives by EPA Method 8260B The gasoline oxygenates/additives include methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE), ethanol, tertiary-butanol, dl-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), and tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME) Laboratory analyses indicate that none of the analytes of interest were detected at or above the laboratory reporting limits to the groundwater sample collected from nnonitoi well MW-4 fPH-G was detected to the sample collected from nnoinitot well MW-1 at a concentration of 0 15 milligrams per liter (mg/L) BTEX and TPH-G were detected in the sample collected from monitor well MW-2 at concenttattons of 40 micrograms pen liter (µg/L), 39 lig/L, 82 µg/L, 110µg/L, and 9 mg/L respectively Toluene and TPH- G were detected in the groundwater sample collected from monitor well MW-3 at concenttattons of 1 4 µg/L and 0 11 mg/L tespectively BTEX and TPH-G were detected to the groundwater sample collected fnotn nnonttoi well MW-5 at concentrations of 4,800 µg/L, 7,600 1`tg/L, 860 µg/L, 3,800 µg/L, and 47 mg/L tespectively MTBE was detected in the sample collected from monitor well MW-6 at a concentration of 13 kLg/L TPH-G was detected in the sample collected from monitor well MW-7 at a concentration of 0 1 l ting/L None of the selected gasoline oxygen ates/addtttves were detected at of above the laboratoiy reporting ]traits to any of the gioundwater samples, with the exception of MTBE, which was detected to the sample collected from MW-6 The laboratory reporting limits were raised, however, for the groundwater samples collected from MW-2 and MW-5 due to elevated concentrations of other analytes A summary of the laboratory analytical results is presented in Table 2 on the next page, and in Figure 3, Appendix A Laboratoiy report sheets indicating analytical methods used, reporting limits, and the tesults of the analyses ate included to Appendix C Historical groundwater analytical data are Ipresented in Table A, Appendix B CONDOR
