Limited Environmental Investigation July 16, 1990
ARCO Service Station No. 6100, Tracy, California AGS 30041-1
160 and 42 ppm, respectively, benzene, toluene, and ethylbenzene were below 1.0 ppm and
total xylenes were 1.0 to 12 ppin, respectively.
CONCLUSIONS
Hydroearbons were detected in soil near the existing tank cavity to 45 feet below grade in
r boring 13-1 20 feet in.bo!-ing.-B!2,'and 10 feet in boring B-3. Hydrocarbons were detected
in the soil underlying the proposed tank cavity at depths of 15 and 20 feet (borings B-4 and
i
B-5). Results of analyses of the samples collected from 20 to 30 feet below grade in borings
D-4 through B-5 indicated hydrocarbons were below detection levels.
The Logs of Boring indicate saturated sediment occurs at approximately 19-1/2 to 20 feet
below grade in borings B-1 and B-3 and at approxiiately 14-1/2 and 15 feet below grade
L:
in boring B-4. The saturated zone did not produce an adequate amount of water to
accumulate in the boring.
12
Apty/Ied eoystms
