Limited Environmental Investigation
^ ARCO Service Station No. 6100,Tracy, California July 1G, 1990
AGS 30041-1
In the 10 foot sample from boring B-2, (S-10-B2), BTEX concentrations were detected at
S.S,43, 13, and 76 ppin, respectively. Lower BTEX concentrations were detected in the 20
-; foot sample (S-20-B2); 0.44, S.7, 3.71, and 23 ppm, respectively. In the 30, 35 and 40 foot
samples(5-30-B2,S-35-B2,and S-40-B2),hydrocarbons were below detection levels. BTEX
concentrations were detected below 1.0 ppm in boring B-3 in samples collected at 10, 15,
i R
20, and 25 feet.
Soil samples with the highest PID readings near the present leaded gasoline tan;.s (S-30-B1
t and S-10-133) were submitted to the laboratory for analysis of organic lead. Organic lead.
i' €
was not detected in either sample.
i
ir.
Results of laboratory analyses of soil samples collected from borings B-4 and 13-5 in the area
of the proposed tank cavity from 25 and 30 feet, indicated TPHg concentrations below
detection levels and BTEX concentrations below 1.0 H
r- ppm. Hydrocarbons rbons were detected in
k
E the samples collected at 15 and 20 feet from the two borings. In the 15 and 20 foot samples
from boring B-4 (S-15-B4 and S-20-134), TPHg concentrations were 180 and 810 ppm,
respectively, and benzene was less than 1.0
Ppm- Toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylene
f
r_ isomers ranged from 1.6 to LL ppm, 1.45 to 12 ppm,and 6.2 to 76 ppin,respectively. In the
15 and 20 foot samples from boring B-5 (S-15-B5 and S-20-B5).TPHg concentrations were
'( ' APR11490' Ge®SysPe177s
