!
i
Limited Environmental Investigation July 16, 1990 l
ARCO Service Station No. 6100,Tracy, California AGS 30041-1
150 and 42 ppm,respectively; benzene,toluene,and ethylbenzee,a were below 1.0 ppm and
total xylenes were 1.0 to 12 ppm, req ctively.
CONCLUSIONS
Hydrocarbons were detected in soil near the existing tank cavity to 45 feet below grade in
boring B-1, 20 feet in boring B-2, and 10 feet in boring B-3. Hydrocarbons were deiccted
in the soil underlying the proposed tank cavity at depths of 15 and 20 feet {borings B-4 and z
ah - -
{ — B-5). Results of analyses of the samples collected from 20 to 30 feet below grade in borings
B-4 through B-5 indicated hydrocarbons were below detection levels.
1
L' The Logs of Boring indicate saturated sediment occurs at approximately 19-1/2 to 20 feet s
below grade in borings B-1 and B-3 and at approximately 14-1/2 and 15 feet below grade
in boring B-4. The saturated zone did not produce an adequate amount of water to
4
i — accumulate in the boring.
y i
}
s . V' 12
`' APV11,90fGe®SVStems
