This monitoring well should have been <br /> screened in a sand layer to delineate the plume in the potential migration pathway in the deeper zone . <br /> The lateral extent of the plume is not delineated downgradient of MW-3 , screened 50 to 70 feet bsg, <br /> which is impacted by significant concentration of MTBE. Park, Stockton. <br /> At the meeting, the Additional Soil and Groundwater Investigation Report and Workplan Addendum <br /> (WP) dated July 12, 2004 prepared by Condor was discussed. Condor had recommended in the WP <br /> installation of five Continuous Multi-Chamber Tubing (CMT) monitoring wells to depths of <br /> approximately 150 feet below surface grade (bsg) . The EHD can not approve of the CMT wells based <br /> on problems experienced in San Joaquin County with such well designs. At the January 15 meeting it <br /> was mutually agreed that a new work plan incorporating different well designs would be prepared.
