CONDOR PROJECT NO. 1707 June 21, 2001 The scope of work includes regulatory technical assistance (pre-approval request preparation), project planning and regulatory agency negotiation, additional soil and groundwater investigation, and the associated additional tasks for quarterly groundwater monitoring at the Canepa's Car Wash located at 6230 Pacific Ave, Stockton, California (site) . This scope of work has been prepared by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc. (Condor) at the request of Mr. Remo Canepa. San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (SJC PHS/EHD) has requested that an additional soil and groundwater investigation be conducted at the site. This Addendum includes the investigation of soil and groundwater using a cone penetrometer (CPT) and the installation of 6 additional monitoring wells. The work to be completed by Condor for the above referenced site will consist of the following tasks: SCOPE OF WORK TASK 1 — Regulatory Technical Assistance (Pre-Approval Request Preparation) • Condor will prepare a pre-approval request to be submitted to the State of California Water Resources Control Board, Division of Clean Water Programs, Underground Storage Tanlc Cleanup Fund Program for Tasks 2 through 6 of this scope of work. TASK 2 — Project Planning and Regulatory Agency Negotiations • This task includes Condor consulting hours associated with meetings and correspondence with the client, the SJC PHS/EHD, the SJVAPCD, and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB). Condor anticipates extensive negotiations and correspondence with all concerned parties regarding well construction as a result of CPT-derived data.
