Canepa's Car Wash <br /> Ala) 28, 1997 <br /> Page 5- <br /> conduit and meter installation The trenching and gas line installation will be performed in accordance <br /> with City of Stockton requirements The City of Stockton will conduct an inspection during the <br /> installation of the gas line <br /> 3 2 4 Electrical <br /> All electrical work will be performed by a licensed electrician The electrical power source is located <br /> on the southeast corner of the Jiffy-Lube building (Figure 3, Appendix A) A separate service panel <br /> will be installed adjacent to the existing Jiffy-Lube service panel PG&E will connect the service <br /> panels and install a separate power use meter The electrical conduit will be trenched to the system by <br /> a licensed contractor The electrical system will be installed in accordance with City of Stockton <br /> requirements The City of Stockton will perform an inspection during the trenching and installation of <br /> the electrical conduit and service panel <br /> 3 3 CAT-OX System Air Stream Analyses <br /> Following system start-up, analytical vapor samples will be collected from the CAT-OX system inlet <br /> . and exhaust using SUMMA canisters or Tedlar bags In addition, vapor concentrations from the inlet <br /> and exhaust will be concurrently measured with a PID to calibrate the PID for future field <br /> measurements The APCD and the PHSIE14D will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the vapor <br /> sampling for on-site inspection <br />' The vapor samples will be submitted under chain-of-custody procedures to a California Certified <br /> Laboratory The vapor samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH- <br /> G), benzene toluene, ethyl benzene, and xylene (BTEX), and for methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) <br /> The proposed methods and detection limits are presented below <br /> Vapor samples will be analyzed for• <br /> -TPH(G) Method EPA TO-3, quantified as gasoline, detection limit 0 010 ppmv/0 042 <br /> p g/L <br /> -BTEX Method EPA TO-3, detection limits 0 001 ppmv/0 004 4g/L <br /> -MTBE Method EPA TO-3, detection limits 0 001 ppmv/0 004 µg/L <br /> 3 4 CAT-OX System Monitoring <br /> The CAT-OX system will be monitored by an environmental technician, engineer or geologist on a <br /> monthly basis or as required by the APCD and PHS/EHD PID vapor screening will be conducted at <br /> the system inlet and exhaust to evaluate the destruction efficiency of the CAT-OX system Vacuum <br /> measurements in inches of H2O will be recorded from gages connected to each extraction well d the <br /> CONDOR <br />
