All information requested in the State's guidance letter dated <br /> January 3, 1997 has been provided. References to specific request items are indicated <br /> adjacent to topic headings. A completed Underground Storage Tank Review Form is <br /> preseried as Attachment A. Selected project reports used in the preparation of this <br /> document are also enclosed- <br /> PACIFIC considers this case eligible for no further regulatory action on the following <br /> basis: <br /> • All hydrocarbon sources (piping and underground storage tanks <br /> {USTs]) have been removed from the site. <br /> • The local oversight agency has determined that "...the assessment of <br /> the lateral extent of groundwater contamination is complete, the <br /> assessment of soil contamination is complete, and the plume appears <br /> stable." (Letter from San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Division dated January 9, 1997 - Attachment B.) <br /> • Hydrocarbon-impacted soil was excavated from the site to an average <br /> depth of 26 feet in 1988.
