System down time was due to various
problems with the VR Systems internal combustion engine including a faulty
alternator and a low battery. Down time also included propane tank refueling.
• Samples taken on August 29, 1996 showed a destruction efficiency of approximate]
y
91.3 percent, with TPPH-gasoline emissions of 3.3 pounds per day. This does not
meet the permit limitation of 95 percent destruction efficiency or less than 2 pounds
per day.
