Work Plan for Additional Subsurface Assessment—Former Unocal Station#2859
March 6.2001
observation wells, measuring the response to the vapor extraction, will be monitored with magnehelic
gauges and the data recorded manually.
Task 7. Report Preparation
Following receipt and analysis of all data,a report will be prepared which summarizes the procedures and
findings associated with this investigation. This report will be submitted to Unocal for their use and
distribution.
OZONE NIICROSPARGING
Ozone microsparging (C-Sparge) is being considered as a remedial option at the subject site. GR is
currently conducting a C-Sparge feasibility test at Former Unocal service station 90187, located at 437
East Miner Avenue in Stockton, California. GR would like to postpone the initiation of C-Sparge
activities at the subject site pending the completion and review of the Former Unocal #0187 test data,
which is expected in June 2001.
PROJECT STAFF
Mr. Stephen J. Carter, a Registered Geologist in the State of California (R.G. No. 5577) will provide
technical oversight and review of the work. Mr. Greg Gurss, Senior Project Manager, will supervise
implementation of field and office operations. GR employs a staff of geologists, engineers, and
technicians who will assist with the project.
SCHEDULE
GR will initiate permitting immediately upon regulatory approval. Upon receipt of all required access
agreements and permits, the driller will be scheduled at the earliest available date. A report of the
findings will be submitted approximately 60 days after completion of field work.
240079.04 g
