J <br /> FNS '-995 a <br /> CONSTRUCTION NOTES pF�NM <br /> • /SFS�FS��TH <br /> 1.0 SCOPE <br /> 1.1 Current project is to install a soil vapor extraction (SVE) remediation system at the site. <br /> Remediation system construction will consist of installing: <br /> 1.1.1 SVE equipment consisting of an SVE Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and <br /> 499-gallon propane tank with related propane fuel piping and valves. <br /> 1.1.2 Aboveground conveyance piping (2-inch diameter Schedule 80 PVC) to trans- <br /> port extracted soil vapor from three existing wells, through PVC piping, to the <br /> R. ICE for abatement prior to discharge. <br /> 1.1.3 Well head connection of PVC piping to three vapor wells (VW-1, VW-2, and <br /> VW-3, Figure 2) including installation of 2-inch PVC true-union ball valves and 0 <br /> to 100-inch H2O magnehelic gauges at each well head. <br /> 1.1.4 Connection of aboveground piping to ICE complete with well field control valve <br /> (2-inch true-union ball valve) and 0 to 200-inch H2O magnehelic gauge. <br /> 1 <br /> 1.2 Parties involved in this project: (1) Owner - BP Oil Company, (2) Engineer - Pacific <br /> Environmental Group, Inc., and (3)Contractor. <br /> 2.0 GENERAL NOTES <br /> 2.1 These notes will select options whenever the General Specifications give a choice of <br /> f materials or construction techniques.
