2.2 Contractor shall guarantee his construction against any and all defects from material <br /> and/or workmanship for a period of I year from date of completion and acceptance by <br /> the Engineer and/or Owner. <br /> 2.3 Any contradictions or conflicting statements contained in these notes or between these <br /> f notes and the project drawings, or General Specifications shall be IMMEDIATELY <br /> L brought to the attention of the Engineer. The contractor shall supply the Engineer with a <br /> detailed project schedule and make every possible effort to stay on that schedule; includ- <br /> ing working overtime or hiring additional employees at the Contractor's expense should <br /> the project fall behind schedule. <br /> 2.4 All driveways, sidewalks, and other improvements which surround the property shall <br /> remain undisturbed and undamaged as a result of this project. Contractor shall, at his <br /> own expense, repair any site improvements damaged as a result of this project to the <br /> satisfaction of the Engineer and/or Owner. <br /> 2.5 Barricades shall be provided at all work areas throughout the project. These shall be <br /> adequate to prohibit vehicular and pedestrian access. <br /> 2.6 Contractor shall be covered by insurance adequate to indemnify Owner against loss, <br /> damage, or injury claim which might arise as a result of this project. <br /> L 2.7 Contractor's final invoice will be processed for payment only after: (1)the site has been <br /> inspected by Engineer in company with Contractor, and; (2)the Engineer has accepted <br /> project as complete. <br /> L2.8 Only the Owner may authorize a contract "extra" and issue an ALTERATION, or a <br /> CHANGE ORDER to the contract. Should the contractor believe an extra is warranted, <br /> he should immediately communicate with the owner and be prepared to quote a firm <br /> price or a"Not to Exceed"cost. <br /> 2.9 Site shall be left in a neat and clean condition during construction. Contractor shall <br /> clean the site daily. No debris, mounds of earth, or articles or excess material shall r <br /> remain after completion of the project. ' <br /> 2.10 Contractor shall notify the Owner in writing a minimum of 3 days (72 hours) prior to the <br /> commencement of work.
