26 July 2001 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0173 <br /> Page 4 of 4 <br /> Proposed soil boring locations are illustrated on Figure 2 Following borehole advancement,portland <br /> cement(grout mix)will be utilized to backfill each borehole utilizing a tremie pipe The PHS-EHD <br /> will be given the opportunity to inspect the grout mix prior to backfilling activities <br /> 3 2 EQUIPMENT DECONTAMINATION <br /> All sampling tools used for sample collection will be thoroughly rinsed with clean water after being <br /> washed with a solution of Alconox All down-hole drilling and sampling equipment will be pressure <br /> washed prior to starting the boring <br /> 33 SAMPLE HANDLING <br /> Ground water samples will be collected Into laboratory supplied containers Ground water samples <br /> for TPH-g,BTEX,MTBE, 1,2-DCA,EDB and fuel oxygenate(EPA 8260)analyses will be collected <br /> into 40-m1 VOA vials containing 0 5 ml of hydrochloric acid as preservative Following collection <br /> the samples will be appropriately labeled and placed on ice and kept in a cooler until delivered to <br /> the laboratory for analysis Chain-of-custody protocols will be used to document sample custody <br /> transfer from the field to the analytical laboratory A chain-of-custody form will accompany the <br /> samples <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
