Install by hollow stem auger drilling method.
j C. Drilling soaps or other drilling additives may be used only with prior written
approval from the Engineer.
D. Contractor shall record the depth to the bottom of the dual phase extraction well
or soil vapor extraction well borehole.
3.3 WELL MATERIALS INSTALLATION }
A. All seals or fills requiring addition of water shall be prepared using potable
water.
B. In all cases,Contractor shall record the depth to the top of the emplaced seal or
fill with reference to land surface at the dual phase extraction well or soil vapor
I extraction well location.
' C. The Contractor shall record the manufacturer and quantity of material used for
each fill or seal for each individual dual phase extraction well or soil vapor
f
extraction well installed. E
D. Sand pack shall be installed using gravity feed from the land surface. The sand
pack shall slowly be poured into the annulus to avoid bridging.
