J <br /> D. Characterization and Disposal of Solids and Fluids: <br /> r 1. The Contractor shall characterize and arrange for proper disposal of drill <br /> cuttings and fluids. <br /> 2. Prior to Contractor transporting and disposing of solids and fluids off- <br /> Site, the Contractor shall provide the Engineer with complete set of <br /> laboratory analytical data for analyses performed to characterize solids <br /> and fluids for disposal. <br /> a. Contractor shall provide to Engineer in writing proposed <br /> disposal facility for Engineer approval of disposal facility. <br /> b. Analytical data shall be adequate to demonstrate <br /> appropriateness of disposal facility. <br /> C. Provide to Engineer copies of all transport manifests for solids <br /> and fluids generated during the Work. <br /> 3.7 CLEANING AND SURVEY <br /> A. Clean work area, re-grout if necessary. <br /> B. At completion of well activities at a specific well location, the well shall be <br /> marked with an identifier to facilitate subsequent surveying. <br /> C. Contractor shall survey all new wells to define location and elevation. <br /> 1. A state-licensed surveyor shall perform survey. <br /> 2. All surveying activities shall be conducted under supervision of the <br /> Engineer. <br /> 3. Wells shall be surveved both horizontally and vertically using the <br /> existing control monument specified in Section 01500. <br /> 4. The location of the top of the well casings shall be established to the <br /> nearest+/-0.01 foot vertically and the nearest+/- 0.1 foot horizontally. <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> 02671-3 ERM 10/98 <br />
