As
1 indicated in the report, a-11 water samples were analyzed for TFHC and aromatic
hydrocarbons. Monitoring wells MW-1 and MW-3 were not sampled because there was
insufficient water in them. Monitoring wells MW-2, MW-4, MW-6 and MW-7 contained
benzene and/or 1,2-dichloroetharm above the California Department of Health Services
recommended action level for drinking water. TFHC calculated as gasoline were detected
in all wells sampled. In order to track the natural degradation of hydrocarbons at this
site, Chevron will continue to monitor the site on a quarterly basis.
Should you have any questions or require any additional information, please call
Lisa Marinaro at (415) 842-9527.
Sincerely,
D.
