Any person who gener tes a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. The facility <br /> has the following wastes s ored on site: <br /> a. Absorbent material use to clean up used motor oil spills. <br /> b. Sump liquid and sludge hich collects in the sump from a steam cleaning rack. <br /> Immediately make a hazar ous waste determination for the above wastes, and manage it according the <br /> Title 22 hazardous waste r gulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County EnvironME ntal Health Department (EHD) explaining how these wastes were managed <br /> by September 30, 2011. <br /> Notice to Comply <br /> 8. This facility does not hae a valid EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste. A hazardous waste <br /> generator shall not treat, s re, dispose of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without <br /> an EPA ID number. Imme lately obtain an EPA ID number to manage hazardous waste and submit <br /> evidence to the EHD by SE ptember 30, 2011. A form has been provided. <br /> 11. Used oil and oily absor ent material was found in the oil change bay. Facilities shall be maintained <br /> and operated to minimize tie possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br /> surface water which could hreaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the spills, <br /> and manage the absorben waste according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a <br /> statement and supporting ocumentation explaining how this waste was managed by September 30, <br /> 2011. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIA D WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SU ECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHDIn� � Received By: Title: <br /> i <br /> EHD 02-003 Rev 07/12/11 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
