15 rune 2001 AGE-NC Project No 96-0263 Page 5 of 6 33 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES ' A total of 7 soil samples were analyzed for TPH-g, BTEX, MTBE EDB, 1,2-DCA and the suite of five fuel additives None of the analytes were detected in the soil samples analyzed The approximate lateral and vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soil is depicted on Figures 4 and 5 Analytical results of soil samples are summarized on Table 2 Historical analytical results of soil yt p Yt samples are summarized on Tables 4 and 5 The laboratory reports (MAI Lab I D No 64013 through 64019), quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) report and chain-of-custody forms are included in Appendix E I 3 4 LABORATORY RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES ITPH-g was detected in the water samples collected from monitoring wells MW2, MW4, MWS, MW7 and MW8 at concentrations ranging from 100 micrograms per liter (µg/1) in MWS to '• 2,800 ,ugll in MW-7 Benzene was detected in the water samples collected from monitoring wells MW2, MW4, MWS, I MW7 and MW8 Benzene concentrations ranged from 9 2 �cg/l in MW8 to 460 µg/l in MW7 Toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were detected in the same samples, with the exception of ethylbenzene and total xylenes in MW8, at concentrations ranging from 0 99µg/1 of toluene in MW8 Ito 160 yg/l of toluene and total xylenes in MW7 MTBE was detected by EPA method 8020 in monitoring wells MW2,MW4,MW5,MW7 and MW8 at concentrations ranging from 97 ,ugll in MWS to 27,000 ,ugll in MW7 MTBE was confirmed by EPA method 8260m in the same samples and was detected in sample MW9 at concentrations ranging fiom 2 2 4g/1 in MW9 to 21,000 µg/l in MW7 No other oxygenates were detected in the ground water samples collected from the site The current and past ground water sample analytical results are summarized on Table 3 The laboratory report (MAI Sample ID Nos 64472 through 64482), QA/QC report and chain-of-custody form are included in Appendix F I I i I 1
